2023 Convention in the Bahamas

*The new Toastmasters International President was named: Morag Mathieson, DTM from Germany

*We Watched The Top 3 World Champion of Public Speakers:

1st Place Winner – Jocelyn Tyson Have You Been There?

2nd Place Winner – Nisha Shivram Swipe

3rd Place Winner – Maryam Ganni You Have No Idea

Get with your club for more information if you’re interested in participating in a contest for a chance to be showcased at the 2024 Toastmasters International Convention. Club Contests start in December/January!

*We took part in numerous workshops and heard top notch presentations. Here we are with Keynote Speaker Lisa Nichols.

*Program Quality Director Kimberly Lynn was recognized at the Hall of Fame for exceptional achievement in distinguished clubs by the District.

*We had fun and we learned how to “sleep walk” through the numerous events and workshops.

The Journey to My Dream Job: A Tale of Perseverance and Skill Building

The path to success is often riddled with challenges and setbacks, and my journey was no exception. Back in 2011, I made a life-changing decision to invest in education in pursuit of my dream job. After graduating in 2013, it took 10 years(!) to finally land this dream job which starts September 5.

To get where I am today, I dedicated myself to continuously building a skill set. Simply holding a degree would not guarantee success. It was essential to stay current, adapt to industry changes, and refine my expertise.
