NOT TOO LATE: Reminder for Club Officer Training!

Dear Toastmasters Club Presidents and Vice Presidents of Education,

I hope this message finds you well. As we approach the end of the training period, I wanted to remind you that there are less than three weeks left for your Club Officers to complete their mandatory training.

While I understand that time can be tight, ensuring your Club Officers are trained is essential for the success and growth of your club. Here are three compelling reasons why training your officers will lead to success:

  • Enhanced Leadership Skills: Training equips your officers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively lead and manage club activities. By investing in their development, you empower them to navigate challenges, inspire members, and foster a supportive club environment.
  • Improved Club Performance: Well-trained officers are better equipped to fulfill their roles and responsibilities, leading to smoother club operations and enhanced member experience. They can effectively plan and execute meetings, promote club events, and address member needs, ultimately contributing to the overall success and growth of the club.
  • Continued Growth and Success: Club officer training is not just about fulfilling a requirement; it’s about investing in the future of your club. Trained officers lay the groundwork for continued growth and success, setting a strong foundation for future leadership and ensuring the longevity and vibrancy of your club.
  • Not limited to just officers: Future leaders and anyone interested in personal and professional development are encouraged to attend. By participating in training sessions, members gain valuable insights, skills, and connections that can benefit both their personal and Toastmasters journey.

Our Last COT is February 29!

To further support your club’s training efforts, our District 62 is offering additional training sessions led by W-Division Director Josh Winklestein. The last training session for this period is scheduled for February 29th in the evening. You can register for the training using the following Zoom link

More Options Outside of District 62

Additionally, I want to highlight that while our district training is paramount, club officers have the option to attend training sessions offered by other districts. If any of your officers choose to participate in an out-of-district training, please encourage them to notify me, and I kindly request the District Program Quality Director of the respective district to email me with their completion status. This ensures that we maintain accurate records and support our officers in their development regardless of the training avenue they pursue. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Let’s work together to ensure all our club officers are trained and ready to lead their clubs to success. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Cheers!–

John Cameron
