 New District Officers and Evaluation and International Speech Contestants!

District 62 Officers Elected for the (2012 - 2013) Toastmasters Year.

The District 62 officers for the (2012 - 2013) Toastmasters year were voted upon during the business meeting held at the spring conference on May 5.  The following members were elected to district leadership positions:

• District Governor – Mike Bacon
• Lieutenant Governor Education & Training – Carolyn Waterstradt
• Lieutenant Governor Marketing – Jack Pyle
• C Division Governor – Carol Prahinski
• E Division Governor – Lorrie Ito
• W Division Governor – Kelly Berendsen

Mike Bacon, District Governor elect, will be appointing the rest of the District Executive Committee Members (S Division Governor, Area Governors, District Treasurer, Secretary, Public Relations Officer, Club Extension Chair, Webmaster and, HUB Editor).  The new team will be attending their District Executive Committee Training on June 2, 2012. 

Evaluation Contest Winners Announced (Spring Conference)

The following members were announced as winners for the spring 2012 Evaluation Contest:

• First Place – Jeanelle Clark, Greater Davison Area Toastmasters Club
• Second Place – Diana Mammen, Macatawa Club
• Third Place – Casey Kornoelje, North Kent Community Club

International Speech Contest Winners Announced (Spring Conference)

The following members were announced as winners for the spring 2012 International Speech Contest:
